Emran Mian

Emran Mian (born 1977) is a British Pakistani author. He also publishes under the pseudonym Kamran Nazeer. Emran was born in Glasgow. He lived in New York, Jeddah and Islamabad before returning to Glasgow where he studied Law. Deciding not to become a lawyer, he then went to Corpus Christi College, Cambridge for his PhD and finally joined the British civil service as a policy adviser in Whitehall.[1][2] His first book entitled Send In the Idiots: Stories From the Other Side of Autism was published in March 2006 under his penname.[3] He is also a frequent contributor to Prospect Magazine.[4]
